The 9th escar conference devoted to embedded security in vehicles took place in Dresden (Germany) this year.

We are proud to offer you this annual platform on automotive security since 2003.

Information technology is the driving force behind innovations in the automotive industry. One crucial aspect of future IT applications in cars is the IT security of embedded applications. Embedded security will be an enabling technology for the majority of car IT systems such as telematics, infotainment, secure software download, and ad hoc networks. escar is the premier international conference which provides a forum for a systematic treatment of this emerging field.
